Like our other Sand Treasures, when placed in water, Eco-Action Treasures soften enough to permit the sand to be carefully scraped away. A wooded stick is provided.

Inside are at least five pieces of genuine sea glass.

Genuine sea glass is painstakingly hand collected by dedicated enthusiasts. Originally from glass bottles and the like tossed into the ocean, it takes many years of wave action and natural tumbling to produce its unique texture. Much of the glass is at least 50 years old and is particularly valued by artisans for making jewelry.

Not only does sea glass make a unique treasure but collecting it helps clean the beaches of North America.
